Family Fun at Hands On Science Gallery This Easter Holidays
‘Crazy Cars’ runs every Saturday until 17 May from 10am to 4pm as well as from 7 to 11 and 14 to 18 of April. The exhibition setting is a garage where children build their own model car out of the K’Nex construction kit. The cars will then complete a series of trials including Tunnel, Rubber Band and Target Challenges. Younger children can still have fun by helping build a city with houses and trees where magnet cars can travel.
Natasha Verniquet, Science Projects Officer at Hands On Science Gallery, says “Much of scientists’s work involves trial and error. The challenges at ‘Crazy Cars’ gives the children a chance to try it for themselves.”
On Thursday 17 April only, three sessions of Wobbly Woo Music Show (10.30am, 12noon and 2pm) will marvel audiences with the story of an alien whose music energy run spaceship just crashed on earth. The children will learn about vibration and make their own shackers. They will then take part in a music extravaganza to make enough music energy for the alien to go back home…
