Off with their Heads

An illustrated talk by Ian Gourlay

The treatment of mature trees in Oxford has aroused controversy recently, for example the felling of the Osney willows and the trees of the Westgate/Bonn Square area. Ian contrasts the policies of Oxford’s City Fathers with some interesting views on tree planting and treatment of mature trees in urban Paris.

Organised in partnership with Oxford Urban Wildlife Group.
